WHY RUN FOR PRESIDENT?

For several years now I have been complaining about the government. When I was a young man I knew we were, as a country, headed for disaster yet I, like most people, chose to ignore the warning signs. I viewed myself as a Libertarian, which is as close to an actual recognized party that I can get. Lately I think that I am more of a Constitutionalist and very conservative. The difference being that my views on foreign policy would be along the lines of the Founding Fathers. A good/great offense would ensure peace. That means swift and lethal retaliation, followed by extended peace. That being said, about a week ago I got very mad at the direction this country is headed. I knew the republicans would roll over nd I knew the people were being falsely placated and that someone different had to run for office. I decided that I had to quit complaining and give it a shot. Like the song Hero states "and the world needs a hero but I'm not going to wait anymore." I am no hero but, you people are. The American individuals must fight for or freedom. I will ensure you have a vote. I will ensure we do not leave a deficit to our children. I will ensure a FairTax system is initiated, which will mean everybody pays the same amount of taxes and everyone pays less. I will ensure smaller government with much less power. I will ensure that the people are in charge, NOT the politicians. Why can't miracles happen? Our Founding Fathers would applaud a system that allowed for a regular individual, such as myself, the opportunity to become President. It is not my opportunity. No, it is America's, for it is the American individual that is in charge. Race, Creed, Color, or Gender does not matter. We are of one cause; the reinstitution of individual freedoms, opportunity, jobs, and our HONOR. In the Navy the Chief gets things done. I will persevere for you. Thank You America and God Bless.
